- Medical School dean’s update. School of Medicine faculty and staff are invited to hear Larry J. Shapiro, MD, executive vice chancellor and dean of the School of Medicine, give the Dean’s Update today and tomorrow, Nov. 16 and 17. Shapiro will give an update and answer questions at 8:30 a.m. today and 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, both in the Cori Auditorium in the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building.

- Football loses season finale. The football team had its six-game winning streak snapped with a 13-10 loss at the University of Chicago in the final regular season game Nov. 13. Senior running back Jim O’Brien carried the ball 26 times for 75 yards and moved into first place on the all-time Washington University list with 2,529 career yards.
